Steve Meakins – Director
With almost 30 years of experience in the transport and logistics industry, our Director, Steve, has worked across nearly every operational role, gaining a deep, hands-on understanding of what it takes to keep freight moving efficiently and reliably.
Having played a key role in developing and growing other successful logistics businesses, this experience laid the foundations for the creation of Forest Logistics.
Today, that knowledge drives a highly successful operation, delivering practical, flexible solutions for virtually any transport requirement, backed by real-world expertise and a commitment to exceptional service.
Chris Meakins – Director
With over 10 years at Forest Logistics, our Director, Chris, brings a strong background in sales and retail management, combining commercial insight with proven leadership skills.
This experience has been instrumental in building and managing a team of specialist transport operatives, ensuring high standards of service, communication, and reliability across the business.
With a clear focus on people, performance, and opportunity, Chris plays a key role in driving Forest Logistics forward, supporting sustainable growth and developing new solutions to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Gabor – Operations Manager
Gabor plays a pivotal role in the overall running of Forest Logistics, providing leadership across our operations and supporting the wider business, including at director level, to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Overseeing a fast-paced and demanding environment, Gabor is responsible for coordinating people, vehicles, and workflows, ensuring all areas of the operation are aligned and performing at a high standard. His ability to manage day-to-day activity while keeping a clear focus on the bigger picture is key to maintaining consistency and control across the business.
With a hands-on approach and a strong emphasis on organisation, communication, and problem-solving, Gabor responds quickly to changing demands and operational challenges. His commitment and experience help drive performance, reliability, and the high level of service our customers expect from Forest Logistics.
Frank – Operations Supervisor
Frank plays a key role in overseeing the day-to-day running of our warehouse and transport operations, ensuring inbound and outbound movements are managed efficiently and on schedule.
Working closely with both the warehouse and transport teams, Frank is responsible for coordinating vehicle loading, overseeing the preparation of consignments, and ensuring all customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and dispatched. In his supervisory role, he also supports the wider team to maintain high standards across all operational activities.
With a hands-on approach and strong attention to detail, Frank helps drive efficiency, safety, and reliability throughout our operations, ensuring we consistently deliver the level of service our customers expect.
Chantelle – Accounts and Administration
Chantelle plays a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of Forest Logistics.
Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts, Chantelle ensures financial records are well controlled and managed efficiently on a daily basis.
Alongside this, Chantelle provides essential administrative support across the business, helping to keep processes organised, compliant, and running smoothly behind the scenes.
Paul Farr – Business Development Manager
Paul has joined Forest Logistics in 2026 and Brings with him over 20 years of experience in sales, account development, and customer relationship management.
Paul works closely with new and existing customers to understand their transport requirements and demonstrate how a partnership with Forest Logistics can support their business across the board. By taking the time to understand each customer’s individual needs, he helps develop tailored, cost-effective transport solutions backed by the high standards of customer service we pride ourselves on.
With a strong background in developing strategic accounts and delivering long-term customer value, Paul’s focus is on building trusted relationships and ensuring every customer benefits from reliable, flexible logistics support designed around their operational needs.
